At St. Stephen’s, we take great pride in our school - families from generation to generation have returned to be educated here. There is a real family spirit that spurs us on to do our best and achieve all that we can. Of course, we remain true to the ideals that were laid down hundreds of years ago by our Founder, St. John Baptist De La Salle.

Our school's opening hours are as follows:

Junior and Senior Infant Classes: 8:50am - 1:30pm (Lunch from 12:25pm to 12:55pm)

1st to 2nd Classes: 8:50am - 2:30pm (Lunch from 12:25pm to 12:55pm)

3rd to 6th Classes: 8:50am - 2:30pm (Lunch from 1:00pm to 1:30pm)

Welcome to the official website for St. Stephen's De La Salle Primary School in Waterford. All the information you need about our school is here, and the menu on the left highlights all the areas within our website that you can visit. One click and you're off! If you wish to contact the office you can call        051 - 871716.

Our school is over 125 years old and situated in an historic part of the old city of Waterford. The school's buildings blend in with the old city walls from medieval times and a major part of the old defences, the Semi-Lunar tower, stands within our school grounds. You can read more about our school's origins on the History page.
