We've been exploring our school grounds to see where we can see Maths in our local environment! Choose from the mini menu below to see photos of some of the Maths Trails taking place around the school!
Miss Robinson's 2nd Class went on a Maths Trail around our school! We went off on an exciting trail all around our school grounds, as we searched for answers to maths questions - and the best thing was that all the answers were things we look at every day, such as windows in the building, markings in the playground and cars in the car park! Mrs Kirwan came along to help out, as we searched around our school for the answers to maths questions. We had a great time! You can see photos of our super cool maths trail below:

Mrs. Quinn's 6th Class took a maths trail around our school! We were estimating, measuring, counting, adding, multiplying, dividing, working with fractions and decimals, exploring place value, using the trundle wheel to measure distances, and loads more! Check out the photos from our class' maths trail:

Mr. Russell's 4th Class took a maths trail on September 14th! We were estimating, measuring, counting, adding, exploring place value, using the trundle wheel to measure distances, and recording the types of traffic passing our school! We'll be doing another maths trail around the block where our school is situated soon - keep an eye on our class' page for news on that!
